Eagle Cliff Ranch got it's name from the beautiful cliffs located in the
center of the ranch after
eagles built and nested on their face. The ranch consists of
cliffs, canyons, rolling
hills, and meadows. Eagle Cliff has been placed into a "conservation
easement" by it's present
owners to ensure that the beauty and pristine environment of the ranch
will never be disturbed.

A "conservation easement" keeps the ranch, legally, from ever being subdivided in sections. The wildlife will always be able to roam freely among the pines and to be watched by visitors when they come to enjoy the ranch and their lodgings.
