South 40
The South 40 Cabin is located on the south 40 acres of the Meadows property, running along the
western border of Eagle Cliff Ranch. Eagle Cliff Ranch has been placed into a "conservation
easement" which means the ranch will never be subdivided or developed.The South 40 Cabin will always have the fantastic, unobstructed view that it has today. This cabin is on the ranch's private road, and so traffic is minimal. To the north is the Meadows, and to the east is Eagle Cliff Ranch. At night the far off lights of Billings surround the master bedroom's eight windows and make for a romantic view.
The South 40 has one large bedroom upstairs with washer and dryer.The main floor living room contains a hide-a-bed couch. The cabin's one bath is on the main floor. The square footage of the South 40 cabin is small, but the cabin feels bigger due to the efficient floor plan. The South 40 has dovetail corners and square log contruction. It feels like "a little bit of country" the minute you walk in the front door. From the front deck you can watch the deer walk by on their evening stroll.
